Most works are sculptural and created as collectible art objects. Select pieces may hold light functionality, but they’re primarily designed as heirlooms rather than everyday ware.
Yes. Every object is individually made by me in my downtown Los Angeles studio. Even when exploring similar forms, no two are exactly alike.
They’re made from clay, fired into ceramic, a material that has lasted thousands of years. While strong, they should still be treated as fine art.
Ceramics are one of humanity’s oldest storytelling mediums. I’m interested in using that permanence to preserve modern cultural symbols.
